DUBAY VINEYARD

GROWER | RYAN HANNAFORD

EOLA-AMITY HILLS AVA
DRY FARMED, BIODYNAMIC

On the dramatic east slope of the Eola-Amity Hills sits a steep, rocky vineyard called Dubay. It was planted in 1998 by Dean Sandifer and historically known as Domaine Coteau vineyard. Today Eugene Dubay and his daughter Celina Dubay own the land and have since planted additional vines.

Our great friend and vineyard whisperer, Ryan Hannaford, farms this epic, rocky vineyard. We source two sections of grapes from this site, which straddle the three planted blocks. Due to the steepness of this site, Ryan has to use a crawler to spray and do tractor work - as is often said, nothing great is ever easy.
